More Than a Ranch. More Than a Trail Ride.

Every person who visits Kay's Acres arrives with a different story. Whatever brings you here, our goal is always the same: To make sure you leave with something meaningful.

OUR STORY

Inspired by Kay

Kay's Acres exists because of one extraordinary little girl.

Kayden ("Kay") is the heart behind the ranch. After being diagnosed with Developmental Delay and later Autism Spectrum Disorder, Kay's father, Joe Musicaro, created a place where she could safely grow, explore, and experience the unique connection that horses can provide.

What began as a deeply personal mission gradually became something much bigger. Today, Kay's Acres welcomes thousands of guests each year, while continuing to reflect the same values it was built upon: patience, kindness, safety, and meaningful human connection.

Every trail, every horse, and every experience exists because of Kay's inspiration.

Every Ride Has a Purpose

The mission of Kay's Acres is to provide more than just horseback riding, we're here to create meaningful experiences. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, pursuing a lifelong dream, or simply discovering horseback riding for the first time, we strive to meet every guest exactly where they are.

To ensure every person leaves with exactly what they came looking for, made possible through exceptional horses, genuine hospitality, and a team that truly cares.

Because for us, horseback riding isn't just about riding. It's about helping people experience their own cowboy moment.

The Mustang Story

From America's Wild Horses to Your Trail Ride

Founder Joe Musicaro has spent years working with some of the most challenging horses imaginable, America's wild Mustangs. His work gentling untouched horses has earned recognition throughout the equestrian community and reflects the same patience and understanding that shape every horse at Kay's Acres.

Alongside his family and team, Joe has helped train formerly wild horses, competed successfully in Mustang competitions, and demonstrated the trust that can be built through thoughtful horsemanship.

Those efforts have resulted in multiple championship titles and recognition for excellence in horse training, while also earning national attention through a feature by the U.S. Department of the Interior.

"Earning trust instead of demanding it."
