Western Frontier Town
Venture inside an old west general store!-Watch out! The Sheriff is in town so rowdy citizens coming from the saloon may spend a night in our town jail!

Now, let us tell you a little bit about your horseback riding adventure, and what to expect while hittin’ the dusty trail at Kay’s Acres.

Upon arrival, we will meet to conduct your safety brief, prior to entering the area where you will meet and mount your horses. At the barn your trail guide will pair you with your horse based on compatibility. We can accommodate riders up to 300lbs, most ages, and parties up to 8 horseback riders. For larger groups, please call for special accommodations.

Once paired with your horse a brief orientation will be held by your trail guide explaining how to safely and comfortably communicate with your horse–what buttons to push and when, making your horseback trail riding experience the best one ever! From there we will set off through our beautiful pastures toward the trails.

This is where the wooded portion of your trail ride adventure begins! We are able to accommodate to and not exclude those who are beginner level riders, younger children (2 and up), as well as those individuals with disabilities. We have been lucky enough to serve the special needs community with our purposefully designed trail system that wraps around the property wooded area but always remains within a timely distance of the barn. This is so that in case of medical emergencies our highly trained staff on the trail ride can quickly and safely get customers back to the barn to receive any help that may be needed. This is the trail that we offer to all of our customers so that you can sit back in the saddle and enjoy your ride in the comfort of a well-designed trail system that is safe for everyone. We take pride in our ability to accommodate all communities and ages so that everyone has the opportunity to find new (or old) inspirations through nature. Our beginner safe trail rides may not be a thrill seekers adventure experience, but more of a relaxing and bonding journey on horseback without the risk of being too far away from where we started.

At the conclusion of your horseback ride you will you will be led back to the arena to dismount. Carrots are sold in our office so please enjoy feeding our petting zoo animals a treat–please no outside food. Before leaving, take time to enjoy our Western Town buildings for additional photo opportunities! And don’t forget…
