Riding Lessons?

You're Looking for Our Sister Company.

One of the most common questions we receive is whether guests need horseback riding lessons before booking a trail ride. Nope! Beginners always welcome.

Kay's Acres specializes in beginner-friendly guided horseback trail rides and Western experiences. No previous riding experience is required.

If you're interested in horseback riding lessons, horsemanship, horse training, or ongoing equestrian education, please visit our sister company,
Harmonia Equestrian.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need riding experience?

No. All of the horses at Kay’s Acres are professionally trained and beginner friendly. Most of our riders have little or no riding experience. The horses know their jobs well and always enjoy taking first time riders. Also, the rides are walk only for the safety of horse and rider.

What if I'm running late?

We know unexpected things happen, but if you're running late and there are other guests scheduled for your time slot, our guides unfortunately cannot hold up the group to wait for you to arrive.

Where are riding lessons held?

If you are joining us for a riding lesson, you will want to head over to our Harmonia Equestrian location. The address for lessons is 832 Copeland Road.

Can I visit without a reservation?

We would love to see you, but we unfortunately do not accept walk-ins. All of our services need to be booked and paid for in advance, so please make sure to secure a reservation online before heading out to visit us!
